10 mistakes every fresher student will make! Guide to avoid them

Fresher students, this article is for you especially. It's all about how not to make a fresh start in your failed way. Yes, I am talking about mistakes made by many students. Believe me, it's very deadly ones if you commit them in the beginning of your career. So read it fast and follow the steps to avoid committing these mistakes which are so common among freshers.

 

A little talk about me before I get into the topic

Everything has its own pros and cons, so do college. There are some good experiences but the bad ones always overshadow them. I am talking about those mistakes which students do in their first year of college life and it's just because of the lack of knowledge about that particular thing or subject or incident. Trust me, there is nothing important than knowing your basics at any cost whether it's getting out from the problem or to get at least a peaceful day. So, I believe you are interested in knowing about the mistakes which students do and how to avoid them so just read on to know more.

Okay! Getting into the point now..

1- Being late for college/classroom:

I am not talking about the first day here. This is something more than that like getting late for years. Being late for college and class is a very common mistake which students do and it's just because of lack of punctuality or we can say ignorance towards time. Trust me, it's one of the very deadly mistakes most of the students do in their career. While making this mistake, they forget that punctuality is most important for any student to get success in his/her career. So, remember it once, if you don't want all your efforts to go in vain. So never be late for college or classroom (of course not like the first day).

 

2- Choosing "I don't care" attitude:

When I started writing this point, it reminded me of the movie Blood Brother starring Danny Trejo. Anyways, coming to the topic, college or university is a place where you learn many things and sometimes not all of them are good for your personality. For example, some fools may make fun of you for no reason. So, the best thing you can do in that situation is to choose "I don't care" attitude. Trust me, it works most of the times and even if it doesn't, then just ignore them because engaging with such people won't let you learn anything good.

 

3- Not learning a new language:

This is one of the most common mistakes made by students. I am sure you all know that English is a must these days because every business person speaks it and not to mention about the rest of world. So, why going for any problem? Just learn it once and then practice it continuously so that you don't forget it.

4- Not attending the extra classes:      

As a student, you can also attend extra classes because it's a kind of investment for your career. What I mean here is that attending the extra class will help you to get high grades in exams and if you don't then there are high chances that you will fail in that particular subject. So, this is what I wanted to convey and now it's up to you whether you want to give a try or not.

 5- Not taking notes properly:

Another mistake made by students is not taking notes properly. Now, there are high chances that the teacher doesn't explain everything in the class and if you don't take notes properly, then there are high chances that you will fail to remember it. So, this is also a very deadly mistake because not only your result but your career may get ruined too due to this mistake. So never miss taking adequate notes during class and again practice them regularly so that you don't forget anything.
